TripAdvisor®, the travel planning and booking site, today announced the Bangkok by Night: Temples, Markets and Food by Tuk-Tuk as the winner of its first-ever Travellers’ Choice® awards for Experiences in Thailand. The tour also came in third in Asia.

Travellers can immerse themselves in one of Japan’s most iconic cultural practices by witnessing a sumo tournament first-hand. The tour provides a peek into the ceremonial rituals undertaken by the wrestlers and a visit to the Sumo Museum to learn more about the age-old tradition. According to one TripAdvisor reviewer, “Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained all about the Sumo wrestlers to us, the history and how the tournaments are organised. The atmosphere was exciting and we stayed to the end enjoying every minute of the show that the sumo wrestlers put on and marvelling at their strength and agility.”
