UK home to the World’s No. 1 Attraction, according to Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards: Best of the Best Things to Do
LONDON, UK, April 28, 2026 Today, Tripadvisor®, the world's largest travel guidance platform, announced the winners of its annual 2026 Travellers' Choice® Awards: Best of the Best Things To Do. The awards highlight the highest rated experiences and attractions around the world based on millions of Tripadvisor reviews and ratings from its global community.
This year, the Royal Yacht Britannia in Edinburgh has been named the No. 1 Top Attraction in the World. Queen Elizabeth II’s former floating palace, now docked in the capital’s Leith harbour district, has jumped up eleven spots since it first placed on the world list last year at No. 12. Another Edinburgh attraction to make the World list is The Real Mary King's Close at No. 6 and Bodleian Library in Oxford comes in at No. 13.

Pontcysyllte Aqueduct Canoe Tours in Llangollen follows closely to be named No. 2 in the World and Street Art Tour and Spray Painting Workshop in London comes in at No. 14.
