Tripadvisor Announces 2025 Travellers’ Choice Awards: Best of the Best Restaurants, Showcasing the World’s Top Dining Spots
LONDON, UK, September 23, 2025 - Tripadvisor, the world’s leading travel platform, today announced the exclusive winners of its annual Travellers' Choice Awards: Best of the Best Restaurants, celebrating the highest-rated dining destinations worldwide.
Travellers' Choice Awards: Best of the Best Restaurants 2025 is the final Travellers’ Choice category to be announced for this year. Awards are determined on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews over the last 12 months and winners are among the top one percent of restaurants listed on the site.
The 2025 awards serve up eight distinct subcategories: Fine Dining, Casual Dining, Date Night, Hidden Gems, Vegan & Vegetarian and Pet-Friendly. New for this year is One-of-a-Kind, which recognises truly unique dining experiences. To celebrate Tripadvisor anniversary this year, the brand has included a special 25th Anniversary category to celebrate travellers’ all time favourites.

World Class Dining
Four of the world’s most unique dining experiences are right here in the UK, according to Tripadvisor. Barge East, a 125 year old Dutch barge in Hackney Wick, London, is named No. 9 in the World in the inaugural One of a Kind category. This restaurant is focused on sustainability, serving up seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, including from its own riverside garden.
At No. 13 is Cahoots Underground, a 1940s tube themed restaurant serving British comfort food, cream teas and cocktails. Park Chinois, London’s most luxurious Asian restaurant, located in Mayfair, comes in at No. 20, providing an experiential dining experience for guests with a live show. The Treehouse Restaurant, in Anwick, Northumberland, is named No. 22. As the name suggests, this restaurant gives diners the chance to eat high above the tree tops!
