TRIPADVISOR ANNOUNCES WORLD’S BEST HOTELS FOR FAMILIES WITH 2016 TRAVELLERS’ CHOICE AWARDS
Queensland takes the lead with 7 family-friendly resorts in the Top 10 Australia list

TripAdvisor®, the travel planning and booking site, today announced its Travellers’ Choice™ awards for Family Hotels. Unlike any other hotel honours, TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice winners are based on millions of valuable reviews and opinions from travellers around the world.

Award winners were determined using an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of reviews from travellers on TripAdvisor gathered over a 12-month period, with emphasis placed on reviews marked as a family stay.

“TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice award-winners make it really easy for parents to find the perfect family-friendly accommodation for their next holiday or weekend getaway without breaking the bank,” said Joanne Kershaw, TripAdvisor spokesperson. “Families looking to keep their kids entertained and make lasting memories have some fantastic resort and hotel options with water parks and educational activities in some of Australia’s best coastal destinations, bookable for an average of $235 per night on TripAdvisor.”

Top 10 Travellers’ Choice Hotels for Families in the Australia:

1. Sea World Resort – Main Beach, Queensland – Bookable on TripAdvisor for an average rate1 of $266 per night.

Located in the ‘Theme Park Capital of Australia’, this Queensland resorts offers a selection of double rooms, deluxe rooms, and deluxe family queen rooms to best suit your holiday experience. There is so much for the whole family to explore including the SpongeBob themed aquatic adventure playground, as well as a Kids’ Club dedicated to the little ones. Hosts were super friendly and the kids had a great time in the pool.”
