15 October, 2013 - TripAdvisor®, the world’s largest travel site*, announces its inaugural list of Hot New Hotels – which showcases the best rated hotels opened in the last twelve months.
Three London hotels have been named among the list of 10 hot new hotels in Europe with one also making it on to the top 10 world list. The Ampersand Hotel in London’s South Kensington is revealed as second in Europe’s hot new hotels and eighth in the world, while the InterContinental London Westminster and the West End’s Café Royal placed fourth and seventh respectively in Europe.
“TripAdvisor has identified the new hotels that have made lasting impressions on our community since opening their doors,” said Barbara Messing, chief marketing officer at TripAdvisor. “Whether travelling internationally or close to home, we encourage travellers to check out, or ‘check in’ to these new hotels on the scene that are getting high reviews from other travellers.”
The Ampersand Hotel, the highest ranked UK hotel, is inspired by London’s famous museum district and its interior design runs along five themes: botany, music, geometry, ornithology and astronomy.
