National Curry Week hits the UK this month (12 - 18 October) and to celebrate, TripAdvisor reveals the UK’s top ten best rated curry houses, according to TripAdvisor diners.
“If you’re not lucky enough to live near one of these top rated restaurants, you can still celebrate National Curry Week in style by searching for the best Indian restaurants in your area on TripAdvisor,” commented TripAdvisor spokesperson, James Kay.
Here is a rundown of the ten curry houses in the UK with the highest average ratings, calculated from reviews and ratings published on TripAdvisor*:
1. Prithvi Restaurant, Cheltenham, Cotswolds – 5 out of 5 bubble rating on TripAdvisor and 733 reviews**
As one TripAdvisor traveller commented: “Fantastic in every way! From the moment we walked in we had exceptional service and great food in stylish surroundings. Can't wait to return.”
2. The Chilli Tree, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex - 5 out of 5 bubble rating on TripAdvisor and 914 reviews
As one TripAdvisor traveller commented: “The staff are helpful and friendly and the food never lets you down. I had a chicken bhuna and it was perfection, so much flavour! I have been to Indian restaurants all over the country and this is the best one I have been to.”
3. Indian Tiffin Room, Cheadle, Greater Manchester – 4.5 out of 5 bubble rating on TripAdvisor and 451 reviews
