Amusement and Water Parks a Summer Holiday Activity; Make Aussies Feel Young Again

According to a TripAdvisor survey1 of more than 800 Australian travellers, visiting an amusement park is an activity of choice for the warmer months with the majority of respondents (83%) listing September to January as the best months to visit an amusement or water park.

Proving to be a popular summer holiday activity, three-fifths (62 %) of respondents are prepared to travel more than 1,000 kilometres to get to an amusement park and will, more often than not, plan a few days of holiday around their visit (54%). In demonstration that amusement parks are not just for children, over three quarters (78%) of respondents revealed that going to an amusement or waterpark made them feel young again.
