Summer is nearly over, but you can still get in some good travel experiences before the seasons change. A couple Texas spots are even being recommended to travelers nation-wide.
Two Texas locations have landed on a recent ranking of the top American destinations that are on the rise in 2017, according to travel website TripAdvisor.
Data from the site's Seasonal Attractions Trend Index provides insight into the hottest attractions for the 2017 summer. The data reveals that the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens and NASA's Space Center Houston are among the US locations that are rising in popularity this summer.

TripAdvisor's data was determined based on the percent increase in search sessions on TripAdvisor's mobile and desktop platforms between 2016 and 2017 for the period of June 1 to July 5. To qualify, the attractions must have a four-star rating out of five and must have been searched at least 20,000 times last year.
